MOBILE, Ala. –– Appalachian State University volleyball dropped a four-set defeat, 3-1 (25-20, 23-25, 16-25, 25-27), to South Alabama on Sunday afternoon.
The Mountaineers (3-21, 1-10 Sun Belt) were led by Melissa McMath who finished with a team-high 18 kills. Ashton Gregory also finished with double-digit kills with 13.
Ashlyn Brown ran the offense and finished with 41 assists for the match. Defensively, Kati Stammen collected a team-high 22 digs, while Brown finished with 16 and Kennedy Wilson totaled 13.
