Dear App Family,
This week we officially welcomed back the App State student body for the first day of classes of the 2020-21 academic year. I am so glad to see the student body and our student-athletes back on campus. I would like to Chancellor Everts, university leadership and the many amazing faculty and staff members for their dedicated work the last few months to prepare for a safe return to campus life.
Across our campus, faculty, staff and students are engaged in teaching, research and learning in an environment fundamentally changed by the coronavirus. This has been and continues to be a monumental task that evolves as new guidance emerges from health officials in the midst of a global pandemic.
