BOONE, N.C. -- Former Appalachian State forward Tyrell Johnson has inked a professional deal with the Plymouth Raiders of the British Basketball League (BBL).
Johnson will join the Raiders later this summer before the season tips in September.
In his App State career, Johnson appeared in 125 games, starting in 91. He averaged 6.9 points and 4.0 rebounds in his career and blocking a total of 121 shots. Johnson's 121 blocks sits fifth all-time in program history, while his 125 games played sits in a tie for fifth-place all-time.
During his senior season in 2018-19, he averaged a career-high 9.
