BOONE, N.C. — With App State players in the Coastal Plain League and Southern Collegiate Baseball League, Luke Drumheller's league-leading batting average is one highlight for the Mountaineers on the summer circuit.
Drumheller, an infielder, leads the SCBL with a .452 average, 15 runs and 10 RBIs through 10 games. He has two homers, two doubles and one triple among his 14 hits to go along with seven walks, and he's enjoyed a pair of 4-for-4 games at the plate.
