Story Reaches 1,000 Points in Mountaineers' Rout Over Wofford

BOONE, N.C. - The offense was in full force on Monday evening, as Appalachian State University women's basketball (6-4) dealt Wofford (6-6) a convincing 94-70 defeat at the Holmes Center.

Appalachian improves to 5-0 at home, finishing undefeated at home in non-conference action for the first time since the 2012-13 campaign. In the Mountaineers' previous three victories in Boone, they have defeated their opponents by an average of 20 points.

Also, the 6-4 mark with one non-conference game left gives the Black and Gold its best non-conference record in the Angel Elderkin era, while it's the best 10-game start since the same 2012-13 season when the Black and Gold began the year 7-3.
