Daughter of Jeffery and Pam Bloom, Maddy was a four-time letter winner while playing softball at West Windsor-Plainsboro High School North in Plainsboro, N.J. Bloom also played travel ball for the New Jersey Cheetahs before making her way to Appalachian.
While at Appalachian State, Bloom has been a pivotal member of the Mountaineer squad, giving her all each and every day. As a freshman, Bloom appeared in 30 games and started in 23 of them.
