BOONE, N.C. – Appalachian State University softball will begin a five-game homestand on Wednesday, March 29 when they take on USC Upstate for a midweek doubleheader at the Sywassink/Lloyd Family Softball Stadium in Boone, N.C at 3 p.m.
Appalachian State (12-16, 0-6 SBC) is coming off a three-game conference skid after dropping the weekend series to Georgia State. On Saturday, four Mountaineers knocked in RBI, and Natalie Orcutt bombed out her third home run of the season. In the conference finale, Orcutt and Cara Parker crashed out two hits apiece and four recorded RBI.
