BOONE, N.C. – Appalachian State University softball is set to play the second half of the two-game series against the North Carolina A&T Aggies on Wednesday, Feb. 22 at 3 p.m. at the Lady Aggie Softball Complex in Greensboro, N.C.
In the first part of the split series, Appalachian trounced the Aggies 11-3 with three ladies recording three hits including Natalie Orcutt (3-for-5), Heather Josey (3-for-5) and Cara Parker (3-for-4). Parker also registered her first home run of the season.
The Mountaineers enter this single game 4-4 after grabbing two wins and dropping one at the Aggie Invitational in Greensboro.
