MONROE, LA. – Appalachian State University softball dropped a pair of hard-fought battles to ULM on Saturday in a conference doubleheader at the ULM Softball Complex at Geo-Surfaces Field in Monroe, La.
Appalachian State (12-23, 0-11 SBC) slapped out nine hits on Saturday, and Natalie Orcutt batted over .500 at the plate smashing out two hits in both games. The Georgia native extended her on-base streak to 12 straight games and went for extra bases hitting her third triple of the season in the first game, and smacking out her tenth double in the second.
