BOONE, N.C. — App State's home football game against Coastal Carolina on Wednesday, Oct. 20, will feature special ribbon decals on the Mountaineers' helmets as part of a "Punt Cancer" night at Kidd Brewer Stadium.
App State's helmets will feature ribbon decals recognizing and honoring the fights against all cancers (lavender ribbon) as well as the fight against breast cancer (pink) and brain cancer (gray).
During this nationally televised game for the Mountaineers, Kidd Brewer Stadium will have unique pops of color while honoring and recognizing cancer survivors, highlighting important information about the fight against cancer and showing fans how they can get involved.
