BOONE, N.C. – After securing a berth in the Sun Belt Football Championship Game for the second straight year, App State can clinch hosting rights with a win this Friday at Troy.
The 22nd-ranked, East champion Mountaineers (10-1, 6-1 Sun Belt) will play the West champion Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns (9-2, 6-1 Sun Belt) for the league title on Saturday, Dec. 7 (noon ET on ESPN or ESPN2). App State would host the game in Boone with a win at Troy or a Louisiana loss vs. ULM this weekend. A Louisiana win and App State loss would move the title game to Lafayette, La.
