BIRMINGHAM, ALA. - After five events, Appalachian State University men’s track and field currently sits in fifth after collecting 22.50 points on Monday at the 2017 Sun Belt Conference Indoor Track & Field Championships in Birmingham, Ala.
Nathan Milch started the Mountaineers off in the right direction by grabbing six points in the men’s weight throw after tossing out a season’s best 58-3.75 (17.77m) for third. In the pole vault, the Apps scored 7.5 points with Phillip Thomas finishing in fifth with a vault of 15-11.
