LEXINGTON, Va. – The App State women's track and field team rounded out competition at the VMI Winter Classic with 24 top-five finishes on Saturday.
"This was a great tune-up for the conference championships," said director of track & field/cross country Damion McLean. "We saw a lot of personal and season bests that we're looking forward to using to challenge us further."
Graduate student Alexia Moehling clinched first in the women's 60-meter hurdle final with a time of 8.80.
In the women's 800 meters, senior Jasmine Donohue led the pack with a first-place finish and time of 2:16.
