BOONE, N.C. – Appalachian State University women's tennis (9-5) will host in-state foe UNC Greensboro on Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Deer Valley Racquet Club.
The Mountaineers have won six of their last seven matches, which includes three victories over opponents from North Carolina. Since Feb. 10, Appalachian has captured 40 of the 49 available points in its contests.
App is also coming off of a dominant performance against in-state opponent NC Central, sweeping the Eagles 7-0. The Mountaineers captured all three doubles affairs. In singles, only one match was extended beyond the second set, where Taylor Bygrave shook off a second set defeat to win her match 6-1, 1-6, 6-4.
