MORGANTON, N.C. — Appalachian State University women's golf sits in a three-way tied for fourth place after the first round of the Mimosa Hills Intercollegiate on Sunday. The Mountaineers shot a 308 as a team and are tied with Stetson and Elon.
Jacskonville State leads the tournament after a day-one 303. Bethune-Cookman and Wofford are tied for second with at 307.
Savanna Wood lead the way for the Apps on day-one. Wood posted a 75 and is tied for 5th place going into Monday's round. Right behind Wood, Joliana Elias shot 76 in round one.
