Appalachian State University baseball hits the road again on Tuesday when it travels to North Carolina Central for a non-conference contest. Game time is set for 4 p.m. at the historic Durham Athletic Park (former home of the Durham Bulls).
For the eighth time in nine games this season, Appalachian State will send a true freshman to the mound when right-hander Breydan Gorham toes the rubber on Tuesday afternoon. Gorham was spectacular in his debut last Tuesday, limiting No. 24 South Carolina to two hits and and striking out five over just four innings.
