DURHAM, N.C. – The App State men's and women's track and field team capped competition at the Duke Invitational on Saturday after totaling an even 60 top-20 finishes on the weekend.
"I'm very excited about how everyone stepped up today against very good competition," said director of track & field/cross country Damion McLean. "That is the type of competitiveness we need each and every weekend if we want to be heard in the Sun Belt."
Graduate student Ashlee Osaji, who is the App State women's outdoor long jump record holder, clinched first in the women's long jump with a leap of 6.
