RADFORD, Va. – After a marathon of a tennis match Friday against Marshall, App State made quick work of a nonconference road match Sunday at Radford, winning 5-0 to push the Mountaineers' win streak to five.
App State (12-6) will take its hot streak into Saturday's regular-season finale at Sun Belt leader Old Dominion to determine final seeding ahead of the conference tournament. At 8-2, the Mountaineers have their best league record since 2019 and are third in the standings. ODU is atop the standings at 9-0. The Mountaineers and Monarchs boast the league's longest current win streaks at five and nine, respectively.
