MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. - The App State men's and women's track & field team closed out the first day of competition at the Myrtle Beach Invitational on Friday with the men's team standing first in the team standings with 54 points and the women's team standing second with 30 points. The Black and Gold tallied 18 top-eight finishes on the day including a trio of advancements to the men's and women's 100-meter finals.
In his debut in the Black and Gold, freshman Jonathan Wilson took first in the men's 100-meter prelims with a time of 10.
