ORLANDO, Fla. — Appalachian State University women’s tennis ended their spring break slate of games in Florida, 1-2, as they dropped a 4-3 decision to the University of Richmond on Friday.
“Give Richmond a lot of credit, they are a really good team and have had a strong season,” head coach Colin Crothers said. “I thought there were some bright spots today in the loss. Obviously, we didn’t get the outcome we wanted, but we’ll take today’s match and really the whole week of matches and improve from it in our break before we start playing conference opponents.
