BOONE, N.C. – Riding high after an emotional win last Sunday, the App State Mountaineers dominated from start to finish on Tuesday, defeating the Central Penn Knights 111-35 to cap off their four-game homestand undefeated and improve to 7-2. App State never trailed in the game and held the Knights to just 13 percent shooting for the game.
App State (7-2) has now won six games and is off to its best nine-game start in over 30 years. The last time App State won seven of their first nine to start a season came back in the 1988-89 season when Tom Apke's squad won 10 of their first 11 games to begin the year.
