SPARTANBURG, S.C. - The App State men's and women's cross country team wrapped competition at the USC - Upstate Invite in Spartanburg, S.C. on Saturday with the men's squad clinching first in the team standings with 30 points and the women taking second with 75 points.
Six Mountaineers rounded out the top-10 in the men's 8K race, with junior Oliver Wilson-Cook leading the pack. Wilson-Cook clocked a time of 25:03.9 to place fourth individually. Following Wilson-Cook was fellow junior Dwayne Lillie, who placed fifth, stopping the clock at 25:10.6. Sophomores Garrett Bivens and Chase Burrell finished sixth and seventh, respectively, with times of 25:10.
