Most Slopes Open at App Ski Mtn., Enjoy the Covered Slopes and Beautiful Blue Skies

With a base upwards of 60 inches after several days of snowmaking, Appalachian Ski Mtn. has the majority of its slopes open for winter fun.

Of the seven slopes open, ASM has two beginner slopes, all three intermediate slopes and one black diamond slope ready to ride. Appaljack, one of Appalachian’s three terrain parks, is open as well.

The cold temperatures and sunny skies have been a blessing for the resort lately, especially considering the rainy weather and record warm temperatures around the holidays, which provide a significant portion of the resort’s business for the season.

Yesterday, ASM posted a picture of the snow machines working on Facebook with a caption, “Now this is how winter should feel.
