PEACHTREE CITY, Ga. - It did it again, for the second time in four seasons, No. 7 seed Appalachian State University men's tennis pulled off an upset against a higher-seeded team. This time, it was against second-seeded Louisiana in a 4-2 win on Friday evening at Peachtree Tennis Center.
App State will have to face another team seeded higher, as it will face No. 3 seed South Alabama on Saturday at 3 p.m. on ESPN3.
The match came down to the wire, where the final two contests went to a third set.
With the win, the Mountaineers ensure a winning season for a third straight season.
