TEMPE, Ariz. - The Intercollegiate Tennis Association announced its 2020 Division I Carolina Region awards on Monday with App State men's tennis earning a community service honorable mention award
App State earns the honor after finishing with 181 hours of community service over the academic year. The Black and Gold worked with local organizations such as Habitat for Humanity and the Humane Society of Watauga County with 100 percent participation.
"As a program, we always strive to make sure we're getting involved in the community," head coach Craig Schwartz said. "It's an honor to be recognized by the ITA for our community service efforts.
