RICHMOND, Ky. - Stellar singles play for Appalachian State University men's tennis (5-2) played a pivotal role in a 4-2 win over Xavier on Sunday afternoon at the Greg Adams Tennis Center.
The Mountaineers bounced back in a big way finishing 2-0 this weekend with the wins over Eastern Kentucky and the Musketeers.
After showcasing dominant play in doubles play all season long, the Apps turned towards their singles performance to come back. Xavier took a 1-0 lead after capturing two of three doubles matches. Scott Webster and Milo Bargeron fell to Gabriel Araujo/Jack Dykema, 6-4.
