BOONE, N.C. – Appalachian State men's tennis won its fourth-straight match with a 7-0 victory over North Carolina Central at Deer Valley Racquet Club on Friday afternoon.
The Mountaineers (4-1) secured the doubles point, sweeping the Eagles (0-1) in both matches. Appalachian then rattled off five straight-set victories in singles competition to give the Black and Gold a third straight shutout.
Due to an NC Central forfeit for the No. 3 pairing, Pavkovich, and Ben Webster clinched the doubles point with a 6-1 win over the Eagles' Theofanis Kontopolous and Pablo Juez Torres.
