GREENSBORO, N.C. - Appalachian State University men’s tennis (7-4) bounced back with a 5-2 victory over UNC Greensboro (2-4) Saturday afternoon.
“I’m glad that we bounced back nicely in a win that got us back on track,” said head coach Bob Lake. “We really got off to a great start in doubles play and carried the momentum over into singles action. I’m proud of the way we performed today.”
Appalachian took home four of the six singles matches and two of three doubles contests.
The Mountaineers took home the doubles point with a pair of wins thanks to the outstanding tandem of Jan-Willem Kleynhans and Scott Webster , who won their sixth-straight match in doubles competition with a 6-3 decision over Warren Bryan and William Albright
