Appalachian had a quick turnaround after yesterday’s setback for a solid win. It’s the second shutout of the season and the first since a 7-0 triumph against Lees-McRae.
The Mountaineers quickly dispatched the Wildcats in doubles competition before coming away with three singles matches to blank the hosts.
Scott Webster and Milo Bargeron blanked Greg Almedia and Pablo Lopez, 6-0, followed by Jack Maddocks and Trey Morris moving to 5-0 and clinching the doubles point with a 6-3 triumph as the No.
