CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – The Appalachian State men's soccer team posted its 10th win on the season Tuesday night, taking down RV North Carolina, 1-0, in Chapel Hill. This is the Mountaineers (10-4-1) first win over the Tar Heels (7-6-3) since 1980.
With its 10th win on the year, App State has now matched their highest win total since 2015.
"It's our 10th win which was a goal of ours, so it's great to get that," head coach Jason O'Keefe said. "Obviously UNC is a great program, top team in the country.
