BOONE, N.C. – The Appalachian State men's soccer team recorded its fourth shutout this season with a 1-0 win over UNC Asheville Wednesday night. The Mountaineers are now 6-2-0 on the season and 5-1 at home. UNCA falls to 1-6-1.
"I thought it was a good professional performance. We would have liked to be cleaner in some areas of the game but at the end of the day, everything we're trying to do in a game we got done tonight," head coach Jason O'Keefe said. "It's another shutout and a win so we'll take it and move forward.
