BOONE, N.C. – Appalachian State University men’s golf finished the final round of the Donald Ross Intercollegiate on Tuesday at Mimosa Hills, where the Mountaineers climbed back up the charts to finish second in the tournament with a day two score of 279 for a tournament score of 855 (+15).
After slipping at the tail end of day one to finish fourth on Monday, Appalachian returned to form in day one moving quickly through the final 18 to come back. Pfieffer took the individual championship, but the runner-up was Chance Watson, who led all Mountaineers with a tournament score of 209.
