BOONE, N.C. -- For the third time this season, Justin Forrest drained a three in the closing seconds as App State men's basketball posted 60-57 comeback victory over Texas State on Saturday afternoon.
With the score deadlocked at 57-57, Forrest stepped up and drained a three-pointer to give the Mountaineers (14-11, 8-6 SBC) a 60-57 lead with 18.5 seconds left. A three by the Bobcats (15-10, 8-6 SBC) as time expired was no good, giving App State its fourth win in its last five games.
Forrest has also drained a game winning trey against Georgia Southern on Jan.
