CLEVELAND, Ohio – App State Field Hockey sophomore Florine Koopman was named the MAC Offensive Player of the Week, the conference announced Tuesday. Koopman is the third Mountaineer to earn player-of-the-week honors in three weeks.
"Anytime one member of our team is honored, it is an honor for the whole team. Florine would be the first person to give all the credit to her teammates," head coach Emily Dinsmore said. "We are very proud of the way she played and helped lead our attack this weekend."
Koopman was awarded for her effort in Sunday's 7-2 win against Davidson.
