BOONE, N.C. – In her first coaching staff hire since taking over the job, App State Softball head coach Whitney Jones announced on Tuesday the addition of Stephanie Bagwell as an assistant coach.
"We are excited to announce Stephanie as our new assistant coach and welcome her to the Mountaineer family," Jones said. "Coach Bagwell embodies the values of our university, athletic department and softball program. Her passion for people, commitment to developing young women and versatility on and off the field will be a major asset to our program."
"Stephanie is no stranger to the South, having been at Francis Marion for five years prior to Stony Brook.
