BOONE, N.C. – App State Field Hockey head coach Emily Dinsmore announced the hiring of decorated Argentinian and former Liberty field hockey student-athlete Pima Iturraspe as an assistant coach on Tuesday.
"We are so excited to add Pima to our coaching staff," Coach Dinsmore said. "She has played at a high level in Argentina and had a very successful playing career at Liberty University. Pima brings a lot of attacking skill sets to our staff and we are blessed to have her join our team."
Iturraspe spent the past two seasons as a midfielder/forward under Liberty head coach Nikki Parsley-Blocker, who owns the fifth-best winning percentage among active Division I field hockey head coaches.
