this NEW ORLEANS - Following a stellar three-goal weekend in two games, Appalachian State University women's soccer senior Kat Greer was named the Sun Belt Offensive Player of the week, the conference announced on Tuesday.
Greer wins the award for the first time in her career and is the second Mountaineer (Lauren Burke) to pick up the honor this season.
The senior for App played a pivotal role in the Mountaineers starting 2-0 to Sun Belt play for the first time since entering the league in 2014. Appalachian also surpassed last season's win total and improved to 5-4-1.
