NEW ORLEANS - For the first time in her career, Appalachian State University women's soccer senior Kat Greer was named First-Team All-Sun Belt, as the league announced postseason awards on Wednesday.
Greer is the first Mountaineer to garner all-conference honors since Jane Cline in 2016 when she was named all-first team, while the Cayce, S.C., native is the third player with Lindsey Tully (2015) and Cline to be a first-team selection since joining the conference.
The midfielder has helped App enjoy a bounce-back season more than doubling its win total from 2017 with a 9-8-1 mark and a 6-4 Sun Belt record.
