SACRAMENTO, Calif. –– Appalachian State University men's track and field standout student-athletes Elliott Graves and Jordan Johnson competed at USATF (USA Track and Field) Junior Nationals on Friday.
Graves auto qualified in the 110-meter hurdles with a personal-best time of 13.93 seconds. He would end up finishing sixth with a time of 14.14 in the finals. In the 400-meter hurdles, Graves won his heat with a time of 51.48 - just .29 seconds off of his personal-best and auto-qualified for the finals on Saturday at 7:53 p.m. EST.
Johnson seemingly set a new personal-best in the long jump on his first attempt of the day with a huge jump of 23-11.
