BOONE, N.C. — App State linebacker Jordan Fehr, offensive lineman Cole Garrison and safety Kaiden Smith have been named first-team members of the CoSIDA Academic All-District Football team.
Selected by CoSIDA, the teams recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. Fehr, Garrison and Smith are members of the 26-player District 3 team that includes FBS and FCS players from the states of North Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia.
Fehr has a 3.77 GPA as a management major who repeats as an Academic All-District selection and was named a semifinalist earlier this year for the Campbell Trophy, which is awarded to the nation's top scholar-athlete.
