BOONE, N.C. — Appalachian State University’s Jesse Chapman and Malachi Jones are two of 868 student-athletes from all levels of college football that have been named members of the National Football Foundation’s 2016 Hampshire Society.
To be considered for Hampshire Society membership, a student-athlete must have completed his athletic eligibility, been a starter or a primary contributor as a senior and maintained a 3.2 cumulative grade point average or better over the course of his collegiate career.
Chapman earned first-team all-Sun Belt Conference honors as Appalachian State’s starting center in 2015.
