Football Fall Camp Report: July 31

BOONE, N.C. – The music blared, the weather was overcast and the whistles blew on Sunday for the second day of Appalachian State University football fall camp Wednesday afternoon at Kidd Brewer Stadium.

The Mountaineers split up Sunday’s practice much like it did Saturday with a Black and Gold squad, giving the coaches time to look at student-athletes that may not get the reps during a regular two-hour practice.

Both sessions were filled with individual and team drills while going through 7-on-7 periods. The offense and defense then separated, with the offense making sure the offensive lineman were getting in their splits, running backs hitting the right holes and wide receivers running precise routes.
