JONESBORO, Ark. – Emily Fedders recorded her second straight All-Sun Belt honor in the 10,000-meter run to lead Appalachian State women's track & field on Day 1 of the Sun Belt Championships.
Through four events on the first day of competition, the Mountaineers sit in fourth place with 17.5 points. South Alabama holds the team lead through Day 1 with 44 points.
After earning Third Team All-Sun Belt accolades last season in the 10,000-meter run, Fedders crossed second on Friday evening in a PR time of 36:33.45 for Second Team honors. Her mark also ranks as the sixth fastest time in the event in program history.
