Early Start Propels App State to Road Win

CLINTON, S.C. – Appalachian State (28-14, 11-6 SBC) earned their 13th road win this season against Presbyterian (11-35-2). The Mountaineers are now 13-5 on the road and 17-8 in non-conference play this season.

With the win, Sydney Holland added to her record of now 11-6 in the circle. Holland finished the game with five strikeouts, three walks and only one earned run on two hits.

The Mountaineers started off early scoring four runs in the first inning. Keri White started swinging first with a hard single off the third baseman.
