GAINESVILLE, Fla. –– Appalachian State University women's track and field finished up day one of the Florida Relays on Friday, March 30.
Taylor Drummonds led the way with a fifth-place finish in the pole vault. After setting a program record just last weekend, Drummonds topped her mark on Friday with a vault of 13-1.50.
In the high jump, Hunter Welborn placed sixth with a height of 5-6.00. Kate Butler placed 13th in the 3,000-meter steeplechase with a time of 11:03.59, while Hana Ratcliffe took 18th with a time of 11:24.
