Donohue Sets New 5,000m Program Record at Darius Dixon Memorial Invitational

LYNCHBURG, Va. - App State senior Jasmine Donohue set a new program record in the women's 5,000 meters, which highlighted the Mountaineers' first day of competition at Liberty's Darius Dixon Memorial Invitational in Lynchburg, Va. on Friday.

Donohue set a new personal best and program record with a time of 16:31.02 to clinch first in the invitational section of the women's 5,000 meters. The previous App State record was 16:39.75, set in 2015 by Tristin Van Ord.

With Donohue's new record, the Mountaineers have broken at least one program record at each regular season meet during the 2024-25 indoor campaign.
