BOONE, N.C. –Appalachian State University cross country will hit the course this Saturday, Oct. 1 in Spartanburg, S.C. at the USC Upstate Invitational. The women’s 5k competition will start early in the morning at 9 a.m., and the men will follow at 9:45 a.m. in the 8k.
Mountaineers who did not compete in last week’s Panorama Farms Invite will compete in this Saturday’s USC Upstate Invitational.
“This event gives our athletes who are trying to crack into our top seven the opportunity to race,” said head coach Michael Curcio. “It will be a full women’s team and one or two individuals on the men’s side.
