BOONE, N.C. – Appalachian State head volleyball coach Matt Ginipro has announced that Colby Arrington has been named an assistant coach for the program.
"Any time you meet young coaches, part of you wonders if you would hire that person in the future if you had an opening," added Ginipro. "That's exactly what happened when Colby came to work our camp a few summers ago. I was very impressed with his knowledge of the game and his passion for the sport."
Arrington spent last season at William & Mary, where he helped Claire Farrell earn Colonial Athletic Association All-Rookie Team honors.
