BOONE, N.C. — Junior cornerback Clifton Duck received recognition as the College Football America Yearbook named its 2018 FBS Preseason Dream Team.
With a first string, second string and four reserves, Duck was one of 26 defensive players on the Dream Team. Only four other defensive players from a Group of Five program were listed.
Named to the Jim Thorpe Award watch list, Duck's accolades entering 2018 also include Preseason Defensive Player of the Year from the Sun Belt Conference and second-team All-American from Street and Smith.
Duck is tied for first place nationally with 11 interceptions since the start of the 2016 season.
