NEW ORLEANS - App State senior Emily Carver has earned Sun Belt Preseason All-Conference First Team honors, the league announced on Monday.
Carver, who was a 2023-24 Preseason Third Team All-SBC selection, averaged 13.5 points per game, 4.4 rebounds per game and 1.8 assists per game last season. At the close of the 2023-24 season, the Asheville, N.C., native ranked fourth in the league and 66th in the NCAA in 3-pointers per game (2.29), ranked ninth in the SBC in 3-point percentage (32.7) and rounded out the conference's top-10 in steals per game (1.
